Welcome to Kemper County High School, home of the Wildcats. We are located in DeKalb, Mississippi, a community in East Central Mississippi. We are glad you have taken time to visit our website, and hope you take the time to see what Kemper County High School has to offer.

It is the mission of Kemper County High School, as part of the Kemper County School District, to provide a program comprised of academic training, vocational/technical training, and social training which will ultimately challenge the academically talented student, motivate the intermediately talented student, and stimulate the student who may be experiencing academic difficulties.

It is the goal of the school system to involve the community in the education of its youth. Kemper County High School has a Parent-Teacher Association and encourages all parents and teachers to become a part of this organization.

Community volunteers in an in-school tutoring program assist students. The school has a parent center, which, among other things, contacts parents when necessary about any problems which students might be experiencing. The parent center sponsors a take-home computer program, and the school offers an adult computer training program at night. Charter and Weems also provide counseling services as needed for students.
